Rev. Edward Ribeiro
born on 13th September 1970, a graduate of Information Technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology – KNUST and an MBA from the Paris Graduate School of Management – PGSM. I am also a graduate from the Living Word School of Ministry.
Licensed as a Minister at International Central Gospel Church – I.C.G.C. in May 2013, ordained as a Reverend Minister after four years of pastoring I.C.G.C. Kingdom Temple, Aplaku Hills – Weija. I am the Area Supervising Minister for my area overseeing eight other I.C.G.C. churches. I have held many leadership roles in ICGC, major ones include Member – Strategic Leadership Platform Team, Head of Guest Relations – Local and International for Greater Works.
Currently the Group Head of Trade Finance Operations in Ecobank Group with oversight responsibility on all trade products in the Group operating in 32 countries with over 2000 branches in Africa. The group also has a license operation in Paris with representative offices in London, Beijing, Dubai, Johannesburg and Luanda.
Prior to this position, I worked with Standard Chartered Bank where I was the head for Trade Finance Operations for West Africa. I also held various managerial positions in IT, Treasury Operations and Operational Risk.
Appointed as an Executive Committee Member of the Banking Commission – International Chamber Of Commerce – ICC in Jan 2018. The first African to be appointed to that commission. I am also an Executive Committee member of ICC Ghana.
I am a member of the Institute of Operational Risk – IOR. London and a certified trainer for trainers. I train all Ecobank staff across the group on Operational Risk and Trade Products.
