Dr. Ruth Owusu-Antwi
is a Christian and has enjoyed her Christian walk since she gave her life to Christ at age nine. She currently serves in a couple of ministries in her church to build her own Christian growth as well as that of the body of Christ.
She is a Fellow of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons and practices in Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital as the current head of her department. She also works as an Adjunct Lecturer at the School of Medicine and Dentistry, KNUST. She attained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) in 2007 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.
She has won many awards in her field of practice, the recent one being the 2019 international fellow of the Association of Women Psychiatrists in San Francisco, U.S, in recognition of her work towards women mental health.
She is the current Vice President of Psychiatric Association of Ghana (PAG). She is married and blessed with three kids.
